I hope everyone is doing well :) It's been a while but I am back :)
I went to Sephora this weekend and to my biggest surprise, I didn't go crazy!
I usually time myself (no more than 20 minutes) because all these brands are calling my name..lol...
Well, this time, I was all set!
I stayed there for a while, looking, trying a few eyeshadows here and there but nothing caught my eye until I saw the Kat Von D Gypsy palette!
The flash doesn't do any justice to the palette :(
I have Beethoven and Ludwig and both palettes are simply beautiful!!!
When Metal Orchestra came out, I decided to pass because I rarely wear blues and grays
(note to self: there's a first time for everything...)
But Gypsy...even though I don't wear green often, the colors are just too pretty!
Some of the greens remind me of MAC C-Shock collection....
I loove the packaging too!
here a few swatches:
The colors are pigmented yet soft and easy to blend...
They can also be worn as eyeliners..
From left to right:

Carol's Daughter Bring in the moisture face serum concludes my haul.
I always have it around because the essential oil blend does miracles for my migraines.
I usually get migraines at least 3 times a week and I hate to rely on medicine to get better...
Whenever I rub this serum on my temples, it helps me to relax so much!
Finally, I received the Sephora lippie as a reward for being a beauty insider :)

i want one of her palettes but i always forget when i'm in sephora!! lol!
@yummy: oh you'll looove the colors. Give it a try the next time you go to Sephora :)
I soooo want some of her palettes!! I'm going to check out that serum. Or see if I can get my Mom to mix up a blend of something b/c migraines kill me too. :(
@B: oh yes check them out on your next trip to Sephora...if Mommy the herbalist can mix up something soothing, it would be great!!!
That's the only reason why I have that serum :)

I just made mixed up my own migraine fix a few days ago. I used sweet almond oil, peppermint oil, and lavendar. It did seem to help some but I had to take some medicine eventually, it was a terrible migraine!
