Boogie Nights

My typical weekends are rarely boogie nights but today I wanted to spice up my make up look for a birthday party I was attending.

I started with MUFE 92 and wore it with MAC deep purple pigment....hated it
I took it off, and then tried it with MAC violet pigment...hated it
then with violent grape....at this point I was frustrated and all my eye brushes needed a good wash(note to self: invest in more eye brushes)

I really don't know how to make MUFE 92 work :(
Since I was running late...dinner was at 9p.m and I was still deciding what to wear at 9:10p.m
I went for a look that never fails me and decided to wear a bright lip color : NARS Boogie Nights.
I have to thank Seymone as she compiled a list of must have products on her facebook fan page "Reflections of Beauty. I've never tried NARS lip glosses so her seal of approval was very important to me.

At first I was scared it might be too bright, but I am loving that lip color. I am including only one picture as the flash was too bright in most pictures.
and...shame on me..I got to the restaurant at 9:45p.m..gasp...
well I couldn't find anywhere to park .. so it's not really my fault ..lol

Face

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Deep dark ..it is not working for me as it used ..lately it gives me an ashy finish :( I really hate the fact that Select Tint was discontinued

Bobbi Brown concealer in Golden

A little bit of Bobbi Brown Pressed powder in Golden Orange

Cheeks: I was so undecided. I started off with MAC Dirty Plum, then opted for MAC MSF in Petticoat and MSF in Blonde( a little bit)

eyes:

MAC stud pencil on eyebrows

MAC Constructivist paintpot (on lid)

MAC Rubenesque paintpot as a brow highlighter

as a liner, instead of the usual MAC eye pencil in Teddy, I decided to use Powersurge
