This past weekend, I took a very short and unexpected trip to Boston...
I was such in a hurry but made a few beauty stops on my way:
The Beauty mark on Charles Street.
It is actually Santara from the Gorgeous Ingredient who told me about this shop.
It is really neat and I had fun playing with the colors from Julie Hewett's line.
I fell in love with this beautiful color "Rosie" than can be used on lips and blushes.
Then Lush Cosmetics on Newburry street. A reader once asked me what I thought of Lush Handmade Cosmetics and back in 2003, I was so addicted to their soaps! My favorites ones were I should Coco, Figs and Leaves, Banana moon, Honey I Washed the kids and the Almond & Coconut smoothie. I wanted to stop by to check out the soaps and meet Lili.
Lili was also a semi-finalist in the Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful contest. When I saw her video, I loved her bubbly personality and creativity!! I was supporting her entry as well and she is based in Boston.
In person, she is more beautiful and has such a warm spirit!! She is so approachable and very friendly!! I was so excited to meet her and hang out with her for a little bit.
We talked about the contest, makeup, soaps and she also shared some of her favorites Lush products with me. So you know that I am so in trouble now....
Last but not least, Trader's Joe on Boylston Street:
3 years ago, I used religiously Trader's Joe nourish spa conditioner and often added castor oil for extra moisture. Since the nearest TJ is literally a road trip, I stopped using them.
I almost emptied the shelves..lol
and voila :)
Do you use Lush Cosmetics? Please share your favorite products :)

So glad you enjoyed yourself and had a safe return...with lots of goodies (smiles).
I've been eyeballing trader joes conditioner for quite sometime...do you know if it has proteins in it?
Take care.
aaw..thank you. That's a good question. I don't think so because my hair is really sensitive to proteins. I'll send you the ingredients in a few :)
